Plans and billing

Upfayre is free for PTAs that run the occasional event. The full plan is for PTAs that run events all year round, and for selling tickets and merchandise.

The price is per PTA, not per person: one subscription covers your whole committee and every parent who helps. There's no VAT to add.

Seeing your plan

Open Manage PTA in the menu. The badge under your PTA's name says which plan you're on. If you're on the committee, click it to see the details, or to upgrade.

Upgrading

On the plan page, click Subscribe — £75/year. You'll pay by card on Stripe's secure page, and the full plan starts as soon as the payment goes through.

Only the committee can upgrade. There's a 30-day money-back guarantee, and you can cancel any time.

Changing your card, invoices and cancelling

On the plan page, click Manage subscription. It opens Stripe's billing page, where you can update the card, see your payments or cancel. When a subscription ends, your PTA moves to the free plan. Nothing is deleted: past events, totals and reports all stay.

If a renewal payment fails, your committee sees a banner with an Update payment link. We try the card again for a while before anything changes.

Joined during the beta?

PTAs that joined Upfayre before September 2026 have the full plan free until 31 August 2027. We'll email your committee 30 days before that date, and a banner appears on your dashboard in the last two months. If you do nothing, you move to the free plan and keep everything you've made. To carry on with the full plan, subscribe any time from the plan page.

Who pays?

The PTA does, not an individual: one subscription covers the whole PTA, whoever on the committee sets it up.
